BOW, NH - David Michael Morris, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2024, in his 83rd year. Michael was predeceased by his first wife, Carol (Bujiak)), his parents Leopold (Len) and Winifred Morris and his brother Sutherland Arthur Morris of Bermuda. He is survived by his second wife of 10 years, Cheryl (Perkins), and her children, Bradford Sawler, Jaime Sawler and Hannah Paquette. He is also survived by his nephew, Christopher Morris of Bermuda, and his niece, Michelle Lawrence of Toronto, and their children. Michael will also be greatly missed by his 8 step-grandchildren and his first cousins, Brendan Flynn, Kathy Marshall (Flynn) and Glennys Smith (Davies) and their families.
Michael was born and raised in Bermuda, where he enjoyed boating with his dad, hanging out by the ocean, making friends with every animal he could find and watching the stars at night. Throughout Mike’s life he exhibited kindness and extended a gentle hand to anyone who needed it. Mike came to the United States in the 1960’s to study psychology at South Hampton University. Mike spent 20 years working in human resources at West Point Military Academy, to which he was very proud of and told many funny stories of his experiences there. He was also very proud of the championships he had achieved with his Samoyed pups, as he helped train them all.
A celebration of life will held at TBD date in July, 2025, to give all who loved Mike the opportunity to attend and celebrate this kind and wonderful man.
