Born August 3, 2004, Andrew is the son of Daniel and Erika (Hanson) Burgher, and big brother to Joshua and Sarah Burgher of Bow, NH. In addition to his immediate family, Andrew is survived by his maternal grandparents Pete and Karen Hanson of Concord, MA; paternal grandparents Fred and Barbara Burgher of Brookline, NH; great grandparents March and Marion Purinton of Stow, MA; great grandfather Carl “Bud” Flint of Littleton, MA; and many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him greatly.
Andrew touched more lives than we can count, and his absence will be felt deeply by the many people who loved him, laughed with him and shared in his life. With his infectious smile and enthusiasm, he engaged each person he met—family, friends, teachers, therapists, and caregivers. Andrew’s favorite activities included baking (more sprinkles!), making ice cream, watching movies and shows, playing iPad, reading, camping, and spending time with his siblings, cousins, dedicated caregivers, and extended family. His nature was to make people laugh, and his ability to draw people in created a lasting impression on many hearts.
Andrew’s life is one to be celebrated, and his legacy of transforming and positively affecting lives will continue indefinitely. Although he will be missed every day, his winning smile and whimsical humor will forever remain in our hearts. Andrew taught each of us the most important lessons that life can offer. Our hearts smile knowing that he is now running and enjoying his perfect body in Heaven.
