William Herman Reasinger

William H. "Bill" Reasinger, age 78, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at home surrounded by family. He was born November 14, 1938 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to the late Herman Samuel and Martha Jane Reasinger and is also preceded in death by his sister, Katie Moody. Bill is survived by his wife of 27 years, Martha J. Reasinger; sons, William K. (Michelle Stuck), Jeff (Linda), and Larry (Missy) Reasinger; grandchildren, Aaron, Kyle, Morgan, Brianna, Sophia, and Wesley Reasinger; great-grandsons, Ethan and Dylan Reasinger; and sisters, Nancy Jean (Pete) Hannak and Linda Baker. Bill was a US Air Force Veteran. After his military service, he worked as an Avionics Engineer designing communication, navigation, and entertainment systems in corporate jet aircraft. Bill enjoyed the outdoors and loved fly fishing, hunting, golf, traveling, and woodworking. He will be greatly missed. His family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Thursday, December 22 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Road, Gahanna with Rev. Dr. Kai Nilsen officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
