Wallace P. Gibson, age 92, of Marysville and formerly a longtime resident of Reynoldsburg, died Saturday, November 26, 2022 at his home in Marysville, OH. He was born July 30, 1930 in Henderson, Texas, son of the late Ernest L. and Exa J. (Yandle) Gibson. Wallace was retired from Western Electric (AT&T) following over 28 years of service. A devoted and always smiling father and grandfather, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Veronica Gibson and adopted family member, Clara Babb; granddaughters, Madelyne Gibson, Leigh-Anna Grumman, Whitney (Derek) Erwin, Leighton Grumman (Heaven) Null; other relatives and many friends. Besides his parents, Wallace was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Glenna Gibson and two brothers, Odie and Melvin Gibson. Veteran U.S. Air Force serving in Korean as a Staff Sergeant. He was an avid and accomplished golfer and an all-round good athlete. Former class president at his high school in Texas, Wallace received an Associate degree from Bliss College in Accounting.
