Violet Marie Carr

Violet Marie Wilson Carr, age 92, of Gahanna, Ohio died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ellsworth James Carr; daughter, Janet Marie Carr; sisters, Lois King and June Benefield and brother, Carl Wilson. Survived by children, Mary Katherine (Woody) Wolfe, Pat Selvey and Jim (Dayna) Carr; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Detrick and Ruth Fenstermaker; sister-in-law, Mary Ankrom; brother-in-law, Charles Carr; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 2-5pm Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where services will be held at 11am Monday; Captain Tim Carr, officiating; interment Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
