Toni Blain Dye passed away Friday, March 1, 2024 after an almost life-long battle with illness at the age of 59. She was a fiercely devoted and protective mother, loving and loyal friend to those who knew her. She endured her pain with quiet grace and overcame all obstacles presented. Her fight is over, and she is at rest. Toni was born in Richmond, VA on December 17, 1964 to Dorothy (Hancock) and the late Randolph H. Blain. In addition to her father, Toni was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Blain. She is survived by her husband James Dye, Jr. whom she married on May 26, 1990; daughters, Alyn (Eric) Wharmby Szymanski and Kelli Dye; son, Colton Dye; mother, Dorothy Greenstreet; step-father, William “Bill” Greenstreet; sisters, Dr. Cynthia (Dr. Dave) Bettinger and Mary (Louis) Blain Pascucci; brother, Scott Blain; grandchildren, Clara and Jack Szymanski; several nieces and nephews. No services will be observed. Schoedinger East is honored to serve Toni and her family.
