Tom leaves behind the love of his life and wife, Lilliam Gulacy, his two daughters Cristina Gulacy-Worrel and Alexandra Thornton, his sons in law Joshua Worrel and Bryce Thornton, his five grandsons, Nate Worrel, Ben Worrel, Lucas Worrel, Max Thornton, Spencer Thornton, and his adored dog, Rhino.
A true Renaissance man, he could do just about anything, but the thing that mattered most to him was always family. He was a devoted father, husband, uncle, and grandfather whose entire life was his family.
Tom met Lil in 1973 and he would tell you it was love at first sight. It truly was a love story for the ages and they recently had celebrated their 51st anniversary. Together, they built a beautiful life and family in Warren, Ohio. Tom loved Ohio, including his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes.
He loved unconditionally and saw the beauty and love in the simple things in life. His legacy lives on in the beautiful family that he helped create and in every person whose path he ever crossed. If you knew him, you were a lucky one. He never knew a stranger, always saw the best in everyone, helped whenever he was needed, and gave more than he ever received.
He was larger than life and the vast hole he leaves will be filled with the love his legend has left behind. Bico, thank you for your love.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
