Thomas Patrick Courtney

March 18, 2018 at Veteran's Living Center in Aurora, CO. He was born June 30, 1936 in New York City to the late Thomas and Lavinia (McKee) Courtney. He was a graduate of Fordham Preparatory School, completed his undergraduate work at Fordham University and earned a Master's Degree from the University of Colorado-Boulder. Tom served in the USAF followed by a successful career as a civil engineer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Celine. He is survived by his sister, Patricia "Trish" (Elliott "Al") Hannum of Westerville, OH; 3 nephews Joe, Tom and Alan, 7 grandnephews and nieces and a great grandnephew and niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Church of the Resurrection, 6300 E. Dublin Granville Rd., New Albany, Ohio with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Social Services of Ohio, 197 E.
