Sylvia Slagle

Sylvia Slagle age 86 of Reynoldsburg left this earth on January 16, 2023 to join her beloved husband of sixty years, William Slagle. The daughter of Marion and Ines Lusignolo, Sylvia was born July 4, 1936; she loved that her birthday was on this holiday. She was a 1954 graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Survived by children, Robert (Susan) Slagle, Sherri (John) Stubbs and Diane (Mike) McGlinchey. Grandchildren Sara (Kyle) Kearney, Kevin (Amy) Slagle, Holly Slagle (David Torres), John Stubbs, Jr. and Cariann (Stephen) Horne. Great grandchildren Clayton Bear and Landon Brees Kearney, Lucy, Luke and Laney Slagle, and Nate and Lacie Stubbs. Also survived by sisters Rosemary Sammartino, Joan Bayes, and Julia Shepard and brother, Joe (Linda) Lusignolo and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Special thank you to the caregivers at The Inn At Summit Trail for their loving care.

Calling hours for Sylvia will take place on Monday, January 23 2023 from 3 PM – 7 PM at Schoedinger East 5360 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43232, where funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, January 24 2023 followed by burial at Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Sylvia’s memory.
