Stephen C Schettler

Stephen C. Schettler, age 69, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. Stephen was born in Richmond, Virginia on December 18, 1952 to the late John and Phyllis (Spangler) Schettler. Stephen was a 1970 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. Stephen loved music and after high school that love of music led to him starting his own company creating the lighting for bands and traveling around the world with them while they were on tour. Fleetwood Mac was one of his favorite bands that he was able to work and tour with. Stephen loved swimming, and boating. When not on tour with work, he could often be found boating at Buckeye Lake. Stephen will be deeply missed by his loving partner Kristie Gortz; daughters Claire and Christian Schettler; sister Malinda (Neil) MacQueen; brother John (Juanita) Schettler; and daughter Amanda Schettler.
