Shirley A. Hatch

Shirley A. Hatch, age 96, went to be with the LORD on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Shirley was born on September 2, 1927 to the late Theron and Dema (Wheaton) Arthur. Also preceding in death was her brother William Arthur; and sister Marilyn Smith. Shirley was a graduate of Grandview Heights High School and The Ohio State University. She worked as a bank teller at Huntington Bank in Upper Arlington for many years. She was very active with the Grandview Heights High School Alumni Association, especially the luncheons at MCL. She also volunteered her time with OSU Hospitals and the Christian Women’s Club. She attended Riverside Bible Church for nearly 60 years. Shirley will be deeply missed by her sons Colin (Markette) Hatch and Brent (Jill) Hatch; grandchildren David Hatch, Philip Hatch, Elizabeth Hatch, Alexandria (Evan) Miller, and Evin (Annie) Hatch; great-grandchildren Charlotte Miller and Henry Hatch; and many close friends. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Riverside Bible Church, 5330 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235. A Celebration of Life Reception will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Bible Church.
