Sherry Lynn Benner, age 76, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024 peacefully under the care of hospice at home. Sherry was born on July 12, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to James and Margaret Benner. She loved animals, especially her parakeet Noel. She worked hard for Sears Distribution on Fisher Rd; Schottensteins on Wilson Rd; Motel 6 on Cemetery Rd and Marshall’s in Hilliard. She would relax listening 92.3 country music. Sherry was a huge Ohio State Buckeye fan and loved playing bingo but most of all her grandsons meant the world to her. She was an amazing mom and raised her daughter, Kelly by herself. Kelly will always feel blessed to have her as her mom. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Margaret Benner. Survived by her daughter, Kelly (Tim) Nail; grandsons, Timmy Nail and Zach Nail. A graveside service for Sherry will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, OH 43119.
