Sandra I. Negron, age 52 of Westerville, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, following a 3 year courageous battle with cancer. Sandra was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, and grew up in New York City, daughter of Carmen Dejesus and the late Juan Morales. Sandra and Jim settled in Columbus in 1988. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for 18 years with the Gahanna Christian Academy and was a longtime member and volunteer with Catholic Social Services, Our Lady of Guadeloupe Center. Sandra was a courageous, loving, and compassionate woman who had a great sense of humor. She was an avid crafter who loved nothing more than spending time together with her family. Sandra will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 31 years, James Negron; children, Jimmy (Nicole), Yasmine (Brandon), Heidi, and Matthew Negron; grandchildren, Devin, Brandon, Troy, and Lucas; mother, Carmen Morales Dejesus; sister, Lisette Morales; brother, Juan Morales; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Charles Preparatory School, Walter Commons, 2010 E. Broad St., Bexley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet St., Columbus. Father Kevin Lutz, Celebrant. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL.
