Ruth Ann Spicer

A funeral service for Ruth Ann Spicer of Heath will be held Tuesday August 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home. Interment will be in Newark Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bruce Hissong officiating.

Ruth was born in Newark on April 9, 1931 to the late Kenneth E. and Edith E (Heinrich) Mason. She passed Wednesday August 17, 2011 at the Flint Ridge Nursing Home. She was 80 years old.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ray Allen Spicer. Surviving are her children Fred (special friend Joan) Geiger of Heath; Douglas (Shelly) Geiger of Utica, Rodney (Janine) Geiger of Heath, Linda (Jerry) Wood of Johnstown, and Diana (Brad) Seymour of Pickerington. Grandchildren Heath, Tiffany (Jake), Nicole, Jason (Laura), Jeremy, Amber, Jordan, Brandon (Jen), Ryan (Heather), Lindsay (George), Stefanie, Kendra, Montana, and ten great-grandchildren. One sister-in-law Marvel Carter, and niece Sherree and nephew Terry.

Ruth worked at Licking Memorial Hospital as an ICU Technician, enjoyed decorating her home and spending time with Family and Friends.
