Ruth I. Clifton passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Born on November 11, 1927 in Columbus to the late Clifford and Mabel Pratt. Ruth also joins her husband George W.; their son Michael W.; and daughter Susan Clifton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Ed Fowler; her grandchildren Brian (Amanda), Diana (Matt), David, Shawn and Cody (Jeanie) and great grandchildren, Emmeline and Thomas Fowler. Worked at Graham Office Supply. Volunteer at Riverside Hospital Sewing Guild for 21 years. Charter member of Capital City Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and very active with the Jolly 60's. Many cousins and special friends.
A Visitation for Ruth will be held from 5:00 – 7:00PM on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services by Schoedinger, 5554 Karl Road in Columbus where her Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Pastor Bryan Dahlke of Capital City Baptist Church, officiating services. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
