Robert “Bob” E. Mosher, age 82, of Grove City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2012. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 11, 1929 to the late Loy and Hazel (Caley) Mosher. Bob was a 1947 graduate of Grove City High School and attended The Ohio State University. He served in the United States Army from 1951-1952 and retired from the Fisher Guide Division of General Motors in 1987 after 34 years of dedicated service. Bob became a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in 1949 where he was active with the bell choir for the last 28 years and played the flute. Music was one of his greatest joys. Bob also enjoyed woodworking and made many small wooden crosses to give away to others. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn A. Mosher. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna Mosher; daughter, Diane (Dr. Patrick) Quigley; granddaughter, Elizabeth Quigley; and two aunts, Leah Spenn and Ruth Metz. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 1:00PM with visitation one hour prior at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, Ohio. Pastor Ray Rosenthal officiating. Interment will follow at Grove City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Bob’s memory may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church Bell Choir Fund.
