Robert R. Davis, 84, of Bexley, OH, died at his residence on December 19. Bob was born October 24, 1936 to the late Arlie and Lillian Calderan Davis in Clearfield, KY. Bob graduated from Mansfield (OH) High School in 1954 and moved to Columbus a short time later. Veteran of the US Army and served at Ft. Knox. Bob owned and operated Davis Automotive Repair at the corner of Third and Grandview Ave. Member of German Village Society. Bob loved cars, driving and working on them. He enjoyed gardening and travelling to new places. Preceded in death by former partner Robert Stewart, and four older brothers. Survived by partner Bob Jackson; and sons of Robert Stewart: Lynn (Patty) and Jeff Stewart, both of Columbiana, OH; nephew Larry (Donna) Davis of Ft. Wayne, IN. Graveside service 2:30pm Wednesday, December 23, at Green Lawn Cemetery garden mausoleum.
