Rebekah Lefebre

Rebekah Ann Shields Lefebre, 36, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away after a courageous battle with health complications on October 23, 2021. She is the daughter of Agatha, John Shields, and Charles Husch. She grew up in Gahanna alongside her brothers Joshua and Aaron. She was also a graduate from Gahanna Lincoln High School .

Despite her battle with health, she was a light and joy to all who knew her. She was a facilitator for happiness and truly enjoyed bringing people together. She had an unconditional love for her family. Especially for her nephew Beckham and her fur babies Boo Boo, Tanky, and Willow.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Shields; grandparents, Bill and Mary Shields and Duane Vaughn.

She will be dearly missed by her parents, Agatha (Charles) Husch and John (Carol) Shields; brother, Joshua (Abigail) Shields; grandmother, Marty Vaughn; her beloved nephew Beckham Shields, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, many close friends and husband Nathan Lefebre.

For years, Rebekah faced and conquered the struggles thrown at her. She loved stronger and harder than her heart could take.

Visitation will take place Thursday, October 28, from 5pm to 8pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, and again on Friday, October 29 from 12pm to 1pm. A funeral service will follow at 1pm with interment at Mifflin Cemetery.
