Perry Coleman

Longtime member of Columbus Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending his afternoons at the Moose Lodge 2463, VFW post 9857, or the Order of the Eagles 2252. Perry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger and always had a kind word. He had his own personal greetings from "Do you know what I like about you?...EVERYTHING!", and "It could be worser" or an " Oh hell yes!" His fair wells came with a wave and a "Don't take no wooden nickels!"

He is preceded in death by his parents, numerous siblings, and friends.

Perry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maxie Colman; Children, Randy (Jamie) Colman, Ron (Susan), and Kevin (Jamie) Coleman; grandchildren, Shannon, Amy, Brett, Valerie, Dennis, Katie, Brandon, Mason, and Chase; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Lundy (Dorothy) Coleman, Paul (Jan) Coleman, Ova Thacker; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends on Sunday October 28, 2018 from 1-4pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; where a service will be held on Monday October 29, 2018 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery in Gahanna, Ohio.
