Peggy was a devoted wife, great mother, and grandmother. She was a supportive friend, and an avid reader who was always seeking knowledge. She loved to write, was a great cook, and was always there when needed. Peggy was non-judgmental and sweet to every person she met. She was very thoughtful, always making small gifts for people. She remembered birthdays, anniversaries, and was known as a very spiritual person. Peggy enjoyed sewing and her most recent passion was making clothing for the American Doll collection.
She loved to go on "Sunday drives" any day of the week. She especially liked to drive to the park with her husband, Billy and just sit and chit chat while enjoying nature. Family was very important to her and she loved when her children and grandchildren visited.
Peggy will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 63 years, William 'Billy' Peyton; sons, Neal (Vy) Peyton, Anthony (Donna) Peyton, and Van (Sue) Peyton; daughters, Juilee (Ronnie) Clark, Monique (Kurt) Menke, and Kimberly Macioce; grandchildren, Monique S. Peyton, Neal A. Peyton, Nikko Macioce, Kennedy Clark, and Marco Macioce; nieces and nephews, Suzette (Michael) Dave, Steven Scarver, Gregory (Karen) Scarver, Scott Lucear, Sue Ellyn (Kenny) Mullins; sister-in-law, Betty Houston; uncle, Lamar Lucear; cousin, Sandy Spencer, and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Peggy is preceded in death by, step-father, Reuben Smith; brother, William 'Buddy' Lucear; sister, Juanita Scarver; brother-in-law, Ulysses Scarver; special Aunt, Ozella Harris; nephew, Gary Scarver; and grandson, Neal Corpuz.
Family will receive friends on Monday December 3, 2018 from 12pm-2pm at the Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio 43230; and where a Memorial Service will begin at 2pm. Inurnment will be at a later date at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
