Patricia Dodson

She was born February 20, 1931 in West Virginia to the late Joseph and Sarah (Russell) McGreevy.

Patricia began her career as a beautician and worked at the same location in Newark for 25 years until retiring to begin her second career as a real estate agent for 20 years, primarily for Lawler Real Estate. She lived on Buckeye Lake where she enjoyed working in her garden. She loved OSU football, Cincinnati Reds baseball and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Louis F. Dodson on July 15, 2015. She is survived by children Debbie Wright of Gahanna and Jeff (Diane) Dodson of Newark; grandchildren Joshua and Jenna; great grandchildren Noah Deville and McKenna Dodson; brother Joseph (Roberta) McGreevy. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death siblings Betty Levering and Jack McGreevy; son-in-law Jeff Wright and a grandson Nathan Wright.

Family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 12-2PM concluding with a funeral service at 2PM with Celebrant Mark Dettmer officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
