Morris William Groner, age 96, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He was born in New York, New York on April 29, 1914 to the late Harry and Tillie Groner. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. Morris graduated from New York University in 1936 with his Accounting degree and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He was the founder of Groner, Boyle, Quillin, now known as GBQ, LLC, one of the largest accounting firms in Columbus. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruth Groner who passed away in 1998; and three siblings. He is survived by his son, Don Groner. Morris had a positive spirit and was beloved by many.
