Maria Del Carmen Navarrete Salinas, age 70, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Dec. 18, 2023. She was born in Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico on July 16, 1953 to the late Asonicion Navarrete and Paula Salinas Barbosa. Maria leaves behind her children Jose Garcia (Yolanda Perez), Luz Garcia (Maria), Justino Reyes, Omar Sandoval and Gladis Sandoval (Joaquin Montoya). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that include Milan Galindo, Jasmin Reyes and Anthony Reyes. Siblings Fernando Rojas Salinas and Hortencia Salinas also survive. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Dec. 26, 2023 from 5PM to 7PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremations by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. A mass of Christin burial will be held on Wed. Dec. 27, 2023 at 11AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 2364 W. Mound St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
