Margaret Rose Chittum

Margaret Chittum, age 75, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family. She was so loving and caring. She would take the shirt off her own back to help her faithful family. Margaret enjoyed sipping her coffee, while leaning on her right side, in her favorite chair and watching her episodes of Wheel of Fortune and Court T.V. Margaret loved sweets! She loved snacking on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches as well as strawberries with whipped cream. Margaret is preceded in death by her Father Francis Gallagher; brother, Jerome “Jerry” Gallagher; infant son, Michael Anthony; and grandson, Nate Chittum. Margaret will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She is survived by children, William (Sheila) Chittum, David (Judi) Chittum, Debra Breitfeller, Lisa Chittum, and Linda (Mike) Hays; grandchildren, Patrick, Patricia, Yvonne, David, Tommy, Diana, John, Joey, and William; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday April 27, 2011 at the Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204 where family will receive guests from 12-1pm.
