Linda was born July 23, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio to Hugh and Kathleen Martin (Reilly), although she was primarily raised in Bellefontaine, Ohio. After high school, Linda spent a year traveling across Europe before returning to the states to attend Ohio Northern (class of 1972.)
Linda was an active member of numerous theater and dance troupes throughout her young-adult life and maintained a passion for the arts up until her passing. She taught ballet and modern dance to preschool students and spent time as a family social worker and childcare center teacher. She loved to garden and entertain, with her family and friends often referring to her backyard as a kind of paradise.
Linda considered her biggest accomplishment to be her three children (although this changed when her grandchildren came along.) She loved and cherished children and took no greater joy than spoiling her three grandkids endlessly.
Linda is survived by Thomas, her loving and devoted husband of 41 years and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Molly (Mike Temkin), John (Katie), and Brian (Morgan). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Thomas and Tessa (Molly), and Peter (Brian). She is also survived by her brothers, Bruce and Scott Martin.
Friends may call Wednesday February 16th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON 6699 N. High St. (1/2 mile south of 270) where a celebration of her life will be held 10:00am Thursday, February 17, 2022. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
