Kenneth Dale Russell

Kenneth "Dale" Russell, age 94, was surrounded by his family when he passed away in his home on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Dale, son of the late Lincoln and Terena (Knapp) Russell of Pomery, Ohio was preceded in death by his siblings Franklin Russell, Louise Gilkey, Guy Russell and Daisy Gillogly. Dale enlisted in the Navy during World War II where he served our country on the USS Dayton. Dale married Jane, the love of his life and they celebrated 70 years together. They resided in Upper Arlington where Dale owned the Arlington Barber Shop. He relocated to Scioto Country Club and barbered there until he retired. Dale's family always came first. He had a great sense of humor and loved doing anything to help others. He enjoyed woodworking and cooking. Dale will be deeply missed by his wife, Jane (Mora) Russell; daughters Jane Russell Alderman and Susan (Doug) Fast; son Jeff (Mary) Russell; grandchildren Sarah (John) Williams, Andrew (Sarah) Fast and Danielle (Mason) Gauch; great-grandchildren Stuart Williams, Elsa Williams, Charlotte Fast, Eleanor Fast and Maeve Fast; brother Ray (Darla) Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight Columbus, PO Box 12036 Columbus, OH 43212. The family will be having a private entombment at UALC Columbarium.
