Karen Susan Von Ins, age 68, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 6, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on January 27, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William L. Von Ins II and Margaret M. (Ryan) Von Ins. Karen joins in death her parents; sisters Janet E. Mosel and Ann McCoy and brother William L. Von Ins III. Karen leaves behind her sisters Judith Von Ins and Peggy Borsetto and brothers Jerry Von Ins and Lenny Von Ins. Karen loved classic music including the piano. She enjoyed shopping, reading and donating to local charities. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Karen’s name to the King Ave United Methodist Church, 299 King Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43201. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 14, 2024 from 4PM to 7PM at Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio. Karen’s funeral service will be held on Friday November 15, 2024 at 12PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Union Cemetery. Pastor Tim Lee will be officiating the funeral service.
