Joe Ann H. Douglass

Joe Ann Hoffer Douglass, age 83, of Worthington, Ohio passed away peaceably on Monday, May 7, 2018 surrounded by her family after a brief illness. Joe Ann was born June 19, 1934 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Joe and Anna Hoffer. She is survived by Robert W. Douglass, her husband of 62 years and four sons; Steven Douglass of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Scott (Jennifer) Douglass of Fairhope, Alabama; Grant (Susan) Douglass of Grandview Heights, Ohio; and Glenn (Laurie) Douglass of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and lived in Worthington for over 40 years. She was an excellent artist with a passion for a variety of mediums, a long-time member and docent of the Columbus Museum of Art, and past president of the Central Ohio Watercolor Society. A celebration of her life will be held for her fellow docents and relatives at the Columbus Museum of Art. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Columbus Museum of Art.
