Janice Louise Sexton

Janice L. Sexton, age 81, died suddenly Friday, January 22, 2016. She was born November 2, 1934 Westminster, Ohio to the late Maurice and Ethel (Moyer) McCoy. Janice was a graduate of Lima South High School (1952) and The Ohio State University (1956). She was a teacher at Glenmont Elementary. She was an avid OSU Buckeyes football fan. Janice was a volunteer at Riverside Hospital and served on The IRB at The Wexner Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert E. Sexton, and her brother, Ronald McCoy. She will be greatly missed by her children, Judy Sexton, Lisa (Michael) Burgin and Tom (Erin) Sexton; her grandchildren, Matthew and Michael McGrath, Emily and Andrew Sexton; her sisters, Joan Binder and Norma Jean (John) Ellis; special nephew, Gentry Ellis; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws; her "Lake Family" of 55 years; her friends at the El Dorado Club in Florida; and her Bridge Club friends. Family will receive friends 1-3 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where a funeral service will follow at 3PM.
