Jane (Williams) Mack, age 95, of Upper Arlington passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Born in 1925 in Beaver, PA to Roy Williams and Mary (Harper) Williams. She was preceded in death by her brother James Williams in 1945, lost as a pilot in WWII; her husband Russell McLain Mack in 1970; and her parents in 1971.
Jane is survived by her daughters Susan McLain Mack (Christopher Kovell) and Katherine Harper Mack (Bob Sorrell); grandchildren Megan Burke, James Burke, Laura Burke Sandbloom (Chase), Katherine Burke Treece (Dylan), Jordan John, Mack John, and Hunter John; step-grandchildren Rachael John, Jessica John Taylor (Trip), Michael Sorrell, Wes Sorrell, Will Sorrell, Joseph Kovell, Dominic Kovell, Maria Kovell Julian (Adam), James Kovell (Maddie), and Catherine Kovell; great-granddaughter Celia McLain Sandbloom.
Jane graduated from Beaver H.S. in 1943 and was a 1946 graduate of Miami University of Ohio where she was a language major. After graduation she worked at AT&T in HR and later in life at Northwest Counseling Services. Her favorite job in life was being a grandmother.
Jane was a long-time member of Twig 69 of Children's Hospital and the Canterbury Unit of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to family and friends, Jane found pleasure in music, reading, and needle work, and was an avid animal lover.
