Jacqueline J. VanMeter, age 56, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born November 27, 1965, in Dayton. Jacqueline is survived by children; Kyle Williams, and Anjum (Ralph) Perfetti-Reid, St. Petersburg, FL, stepchildren; Paul VanMeter, Edward VanMeter, Andrew (Jill) VanMeter, and Andrea (Matthew) Klemz, grandchildren; Alexis, Gavin, Amira, and Amelie Klemz, and Isaac, Danicka, and Jacob VanMeter, step father, Larry Powell, dear friends; Tracy Lynn, Birdy (Tommy) Ward, Bonna Smith, Steven Michael, Rebecca Schwartz, Bryan Thomas, and Micah Mathes, her beloved furry friends; Timber and Logger, along with many other dear family and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Roscoe VanMeter, and brother, Jerry Gaffga. Jacqueline was a creative, free spirited person, and loved the outdoors. She adored climbing trees and planting anything. She made a career out of it and had her own Landscaping business for 30 years. She also worked for Nationwide Arena, and Schottenstein Center, as a stagehand and helped create all the events. When Jacqueline wasn’t working she was very involved with the Local 12 Union. She was a bright presence in people’s lives and will be missed deeply. Family will receive friends Saturday May 28 , 2022, from 11-3PM at SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5360 E.
