Ivan Wilbur Fink

Ivan Wilbur Fink age 76, a resident of Columbus died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 13, 1934 in Elizabeth Twp., PA to the late H.R. and Ada Fink. He was a 1952 graduate of Timken High School in Canton. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952-1956 and then attended OSU in 1957 on the GI Bill where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1962. He worked as a Structural Engineer in the Akron/ Cleveland area until his retirement in 1994. He is preceded in death by parents, brothers John Fink and Homer Russell (Dutch) Fink Jr. He is survived by daughter Ellen (Pete) Gyselinck, grandchildren Reid Gyselinck and Rosie Gyselinck, all of Snellville, GA, son Patrick Fink, of Columbus, sister Marjorie Warren of Canton, brother Paul Fink of Fairborn. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Alton Cemetery.
