Howard L. Kimberly Jr.

Howard was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from South High School. After graduating, he became a proud Marine at Parris Island, South Carolina. In 1960, he married Nancy, his wife of 62 years; they had two children. Howard spent over 50 years in the insurance and financial services industry with his brother Ron. He was a General Agent and held the industry designations of CLU and ChFC. In addition, Howard mentored and guided many other insurance agents. He was active in various professional organizations throughout his career including as a Mason, and a longtime member of Northwest Methodist Church where he was active in the Men’s Group. Howard was an accomplished trumpet player, and was a member of several local bands for over two decades. He was an avid golfer and lifelong Ohio State football fan. Above all, his family was the most important part of his life. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Sr. and Ethel Kimberly and brother Ron. He is survived by his wife Nancy, sister Barbara (Roger) Krebs, brother Richard (Dee Dee) Kimberly, sister-in-law, Delores, son Steve (Sue) Kimberly, daughter Susie Koza (Ken White), grandchildren Emma (Doug) Welker, Nolan Kimberly and Michael Koza.

Howard loved Big Band music, one of the things he enjoyed most was attending shows of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra.
