Harold “Scott” McDougald, of Orlando, passed away on November 28, 2022. Scott, also called Jimmy by his family and childhood friends, was born in Niagara Falls, NY on August 6, 1943, and was the only child of the late Gordon and Beatrice McDougald.
Scott is survived by his devoted wife Colleen, and his daughters Erin and Leah (Wes Strickling). He was a fun-loving and caring grandfather to Sydney, and later Audrey (Strickling); an amazing uncle to niece Kathy and nephew Mike; and most recently, a loving presence in the lives of Lunice Cruz and her sons, Kevin and Brian.
Scott was a selfless man, who never met a stranger. His generosity, kindness, and most of all his humor, will be missed by all who knew him. His love for animals, nature, and his community leaves a lasting impression and will inspire those of us he left behind.
