Gregory E. Ferguson

Gregg attended Holy Spirit Catholic School and graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School in 1969. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 1973, where he was also a proud member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Gregg started his career in sales working for Becton Dickinson Pharmaceuticals prior to joining Wendy’s International, where he met his loving wife, Mary. Gregg entered the insurance industry in 1981, eventually owning his own brokerage firm.

Gregg and Mary were married July 3rd, 1982 and raised their 2 children in Upper Arlington, Ohio. He was heavily involved in the community and in leading many of his children’s activities.

One of his favorite musical groups was the Beach Boys. He loved classic cars and attending the Indy 500 car race with his family. Gregg was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams included The Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed traveling with his family to many beach and National Park destinations and was known best for his sense of humor.

Gregg will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Mary, his daughter Lyndsey (Adam) Szuszkiewicz, son Joe Ferguson, grandsons Aiden and Colin Szuszkiewicz, and many other family, friends, and fur babies.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017, where a reception will follow until 4 PM.
