George L. Johnson age 79, a resident of Westerville died Friday May 7, 2010 at Riverside Hospital. He was born April 20, 1931 in Scottsdale, VA. He was retired from the U.S. Airforce and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam Wars. George has seen the world having been stationed in Europe, Africa and Asia. He was retired from the Department of Liquor Control, a 32nd degree Mason, Linden Lodge and a Shriner, liked hunting and fishing. He will be dearly missed by his family. He is survived by Jeanne, his loving wife of fifty four years, son David, grandchildren Leslie, Heather, Stephanie, Andy, great grandchildren Courtney, Makayla. Family will receive friends today from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St.(1/2 mile south of I-270) where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11AM.
