Frances I. Osborne

Frances I. Osborne, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 3, 2021 at Brookdale Westerville Senior Living. She was one of the first female waitresses ever to serve at the historic Jai Lai Restaurant and later worked in the Kroger corporate offices. Frances was a faithful member of Shepherd Church of the Nazarene where she participated in Prayer and Praise as well as sewing and crocheting for Touching Little Lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, 8 siblings, her husband Jack and sons, Bill and John. A devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves behind her children, Ruth (Robert) Simon, Kurt (Ruthann) Osborne, Blanche Osborne and Mary Taylor; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Schoedinger Northeast, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where the service will begin at 11am; Pastor Tim Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
