Ellen B. Klopfer

Ellen was a graduate of Bexley High School in 1968. She was a member of the Bexley TWIGS of Children’s Hospital and was a Chairperson of the 1979 Memorial golf Tournament on behalf of Children’s Hospital. Additionally, she was a long-time member of the Broad Street Presbyterian Church.

Ellen was a loving wife, mom, grammy, mother-in-law and friend. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Moore; father, Ken Bryant and sister, Susan Bryant Goodson. Ellen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward Klopfer; son, Brian Klopfer (Julie); and daughter, Beth Kash (David) and granddaughters, Meredith and Hannah.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Ohio State Veterinary College: Charlie’s Angels Fund. This fund was started by the family and named after Ellen’s dog Charlie, to provide financial support to enable students to get practical experience outside of the classroom. Following a private family service, a reception will be held at the Columbus Country Club from 2-4 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
