Donna Lee Davis Lowry Thomas

A Funeral Service for Donna will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:30PM at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Road in Columbus. Pastor Jason Elliott officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.

Donna was born on August 13, 1937 in Columbus to Imogene and Arthur Davis. She graduated from Columbus North High School in 1955, and Bliss College of Business.

Donna loved enriching the lives of children. For more than twenty years, she presided over an in-home child care center. She delighted in hosting the parents to be a part of their childrens’ live nativity reenactments. Donna took pride in leading her childrens’ scout troops and singing in the church choir.

In her later years, Donna was devoted to her church, Christian Life Church of Westerville, where she also served as an aide at its Christian Academy.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Lowry, and Gale M. Thomas. She is also preceded by her sons, Robert Lowry and Michael Lowry. Donna is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Kurt) Nowicki and daughter-in-law, Carol Jameson; grand-children, Katie (Corey) Gregory, Meri (Josh) Benadum, Jessica (Corey) Fischer, Nate Nowicki, Mary-Paige Nowicki: great-children; Claire, Thea, Walt, Iris, Ellie, and Isak; and many other relatives and friends.
