Donald E. Byrd, Jr., passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 25, 1955 to the late Donald, Sr. and Mary Byrd. He was a 1973 graduate of East High School and retired from Anheuser-Busch after many years of dedicated service. He was a member of Lord of Life Fellowship Church. Donald was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and was a member of the Browns Backers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Cynthia Knight and Opal Byrd. He is survived by his son, Shannon Byrd; grandson, Nicholas Martin; siblings, Julia Cooper, Carolyn (Lonnie) Morgan, and Timothy (Kim) Byrd; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00AM with visitation one hour prior at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43232.
