Donald C. Brabham passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2024. He was born June 2nd, 1942, in Gallipolis, Ohio to his late parents, Emmett and Nola Brabham. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sheri Brabham and brother-in-law, Dan Brown. He is survived by his son, Michael (Nicole) Brabham; Grandchildren, Allie and Nicholas Brabham; Great Granddaughter, Ella Moore; Siblings, Mabel (Jess) Runyon, Larry (Louise) Brabham, Joy (Bob) Trimble, Verna Brown, Eddie (Helen) Brabham, Nell (Hoyt) Miller, along with many other family members and close friends.
Don proudly served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963. After his time in the Army, he dedicated 44 years working as a heavy equipment mechanic for John Deere. Following his retirement, Don continued his passion for helping others and was a local handyman who could fix anything. Don had many hobbies; he loved to travel, spend time with his siblings, play volleyball, shuffleboard, spend time outdoors, and ride his bike. Don had a great love for cars and the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. He always found a way to make someone smile with his playful sense of humor. Don will always be remembered most for his unwavering dedication to his family, being the best father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother.
Visitation will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio on Monday, December 16th from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17th beginning at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio.
