Dixie Lynn Cooper

Dixie was born on December 4, 1958, in Troy, Ohio, and lived most of her life in Tipp City and Troy, where she worked for the Miami County Educational Service Center for more than 20 years. Dixie was incredibly hard-working, dedicated, and passionate about her work. She positively impacted the lives of many children during her time there.

Dixie was a loving mother, sister, and aunt. She spent any free time she had with family and friends. Nothing in life was more important to her than quality time with the ones she loved. Her unconditional love and kindness made her a remarkable family member and friend. Dixie touched the hearts of many with her selfless and generous soul.

Dixie is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and JoAnn Seay; and her sister, Cindy Price. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Cooper; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Seay and Becky Swisher-Seay; her sister, Lucy Lambert; and her nieces, Katie Seay and Joni Clark.

A memorial service and celebration of life ceremony will be held at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Rd, Columbus, OH 43221, 2pm Saturday, April 9, 2022, followed by visitation from 3-5pm.
