Diana Sue Douglas, 81, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019. She was born October 28, 1938 in Athens, Ohio to the late Donald and Catherine (Conrath) Metcalf. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Her family was very important to her and she cherished the time that they were able to spend together. Diana was a very good cook and enjoyed sharing her meals with family. She enjoyed watching western movies and doing puzzles. She was a retired school bus driver for Columbus City Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Sikes and Thelma Metcalf; brothers, Thomas Metcalf, Jack Metcalf, and Richard Metcalf. Diana is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, George Douglas; children, Susan (David) Herman, Thelma “Denise” Burkhard, and David Wayne (Valerie) Douglas; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalee DeWeese; and many other relatives and friends.
