Debra G. Barnhart

Debra Barnhart, 69, of Delaware, passed away on December 5, 2021. She was born in Oceana WV, on July 9, 1952, to the late William and Virginia (Mills) Shrewsberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul O. Barnhart Jr; daughter, Virginia DeProspero; and her sister, Artie Texiera.

Debra had a passion for Bluegrass Music, the Smurf’s, horses, gardening and plants. She loved to collect dolls and had a collection of over 200. In her free time, she loved bowling, softball, watching Ohio State football, bird watching and especially hummingbirds, and she loved to watch western movies. She also loved the color orange.

Debra will be greatly missed by her son, Paul (Jennifer) Barnhart; grandchildren, V.Eileen Barnhart, Sierra Barnhart, Harley Barnhart, Laura O. Barnhart, Jackson Barnhart, Debra Dawn (Brian) Day, Tori DeProspero, and Amber DeProspero; great grandchild, Kian Barnhart; and son in law, Mark DeProspero.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 10AM until 11AM, at New Hope Church, 74 Wootring St. Delaware OH, 43015. A Funeral Service will follow at 11AM.
