Debbie Ann French, age 63 of Grove City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was born January 7, 1957 in Zanesville, OH but spent most of her childhood and young adult years in California. During her high school years Debbie played on her high school football team. She was employed for many years as a Home Care Aide with Catholic Social Services, as she loved helping others. She was a child of God and attended the Grove City Church of the Nazarene. Debbie enjoyed painting, gardening, being outside, and was very actively involved in her grandchildren's lives - they were her passion. She was family oriented and enjoyed time with her immediate and extended family. Debbie was a fan of rock music, especially AC/DC. She was a strong willed, independent woman that persevered through many challenges in her life. She was a beloved friend to any who knew her, and would encourage and support with kind words, and often a bit of humor. Memories of Debbie are too many to count, but always revolve around her jovial spirit, love for others, her humor, and always was the life of the party. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia Harden; and brother David French. Debbie is survived by her daughter Krystie (Shaun) Weist; grandchildren Jeremiah Weist and Jessalynn Weist; father Earl French; sisters Tresea (Bill Aikey) Mitchell, Margie Lashley, Nancy Wilson, Angie (Eric) Hensley; many aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces and nephews Kelly, Kyle, Ashley Bush, Tisha Pennell, Tyler Young; and her dog Chance that followed her everywhere. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, private family services are being observed. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a memorial fund in Debbie's memory at paypal.me/KrystieWeist. Arrangements by Schoedinger Grove City Chapel.
