David was a ray of sunshine for all who knew him. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. David was a proud graduate of Carey High School in Carey, Ohio, and enjoyed a long career at the Ohio State University James hospital system.
David loved singing, cooking, spending time with his family and friends and his husband, Tim, and cat, Sophia, tea, Starbucks, sunflowers, flamingos, going to the movies, bookstores, knitting, and so much more. He was obsessed with Dr. Who, Celine Dion, and Stephen King, and loved all of the Madea movies (which he could and would quote all of the time). His all-time favorite film was The NeverEnding Story. David knew how to bring a smile to anyone's face, and he loved so deeply.
David will be greatly missed by his husband, Timothy; mother, Rebecca (Chip) Hamlin; brother, John (Anna) Fisher; mother-in-law, Deanna (Brett) Patrick; father-in-law, Sammy (Connie) Sandusky; brother-in-law, Chris (Ashley) Sandusky; sister-in-law, Ann Sandusky (Jarid Bresina); brother-in-law, Eric Sandusky and his mother, Tracy Sandusky; aunts, Gail and Linda; aunt, Jamie Golick; and nieces and nephews Dalia, Theodore, Haley, DJ, Kinsleigh, and Hannah. Besties Melissa (Fiona) Hanks; Karrie Kovach; Jessica Golick; Shelly Land; Angela Frater; and Jeremy Tipton; Shaunda and Kimo Tichgelaar; and so many more that it would take pages to name them all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Fisher; maternal grandparents Janice Tolliver and Edward Cummings; paternal grandparents Ruth and Edsel Toller and James Fisher; aunts Mary Stapleton and Jean Stapleton; and best friend Wes Crace.
