Cynthia S. Huffman, age 41, of Columbus, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 5, 2018. She was a longtime resident of the Hilltop and attended West High School. Cindy loved her family above all. She will be remembered as a caring and warm-hearted person. She also had a love of animals and Scooby Doo. She is survived by her children, Selena Huffman and Enrique Ruiz; parents Jennifer Forshey and Bill Huffman; longtime partner, Elias Ruiz; siblings, Jennifer (Edward Hartshorn) Daugherty, Yvonne (Ray) Kazee, Talia (Jamaal) Lewis, and Joey Whittington; nieces and nephews, Devin Mullett, Jasmyn Phillips, and Aiden Daugherty; aunts and uncles, Bunnie (Kevin) Wall, Joe (Cheryl) Huffman, and Rene (Jack) Schultz; other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 4-7:00pm Thursday, July 12, 2018 at HEART and HOPE FUNERAL HOME BY SCHOEDINGER, 3030 West Broad Street, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 13, 2018.
