Carrol Aylesworth

Carrol Sue Sigler Aylesworth, 79, of Dublin, passed away at Brookdale of Muirfield on February 1, 2022. Born in East Liberty, OH on January 10, 1943, she is the daughter of the late Laverne and Jean (Corbet) Sigler.

Carrol graduated from Lima Memorial with a degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse in obstetrics and gynecology for 25 years. She then worked in home health IV antibiotics for the remainder of her career.

An avid reader with a quick wit and silly sense of humor, Carrol will be remembered for her loving touch and warm smile. She was selfless and generous. She loved planting flowers and spending time with her family, whom she was devoted to. She was fond of saying "I love my girls', referring to her daughters Susan and Laura. She loved being a grandma, and her annual trips to the pumpkin patch with her grandkids. She also enjoyed annual trips to Ludington, MI. Last, but not least, she loved Hershey Kisses, and had a supply on hand at all times. She belonged to Overbrook Presbyterian Church.

Carrol will be missed by her husband, of 49 years, Randy Aylesworth, who survives, along with daughters Susan (Geoff) Retz, and Laura (Scott) Rollins; grandchildren Abigail and Chelsea Retz, and Zach and Delaney Rollins; aunt Pat Corbet; cousins Connie Goldberg and Patty Corbet.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff at Brookdale Muirfield and the Brookdale Hospice team.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4-7PM at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON where a funeral will take place Tuesday at 10AM. There will be a private interment to follow at Zanesfield Cemetery. To leave online condolences visit www.schoedinger.com .
