Carolyn Sue Rogers

Carolyn S. Rogers, age 70, passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born on November 21, 1950 in Bluefield, WV to the late Grover and Dorothy (Wagner) Shultz. Carolyn was a member of the Red Hat Society, an avid reader, enjoyed playing volleyball and bowling and loved her Shih tzu dogs. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her sons, Everett and Steve Rogers and her brother, Carl Shultz. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Samuel R. Rogers; children, Scott Bolf, Laura McCord, Vincent and Mary Bolf, William Rogers, Marilyn Rogers, Jay and Christine Comparoni and Deborah Comparoni; sister, Judy and Phil Phelps; brothers, Jimmy and Sharon Shultz and Timmy and Reba Shultz; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. A private family gathering will be held on 3-5 pm on Thursday, April 8th at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232.
