Brian Richard Morris

Brian Richard Morris, 58, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away May 29, 2020. He was born September 15, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to Paul L. and Nancy (McCall) Morris. Following his graduation from John Glenn High School, Brian earned an Associate Degree from Columbus State and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio University. He was a member of Stonybrook United Methodist Church, a member of TEECO Financial Club and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. One of his favorite places on Earth was Seneca Lake spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by Tracy (Cook) Morris, his devoted wife of 18 years; his beloved son Ben; brother Lee (Kathy) Morris; sisters Jeanne (Mike) Egan, Susan (Phil) Tarczon, Ruth (Paul) Haye and Janet Morris; father and mother-in-law Harold and Nancy Cook; brothers-in-law Brian (Kelli) Cook and David (Stephanie) Cook; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family wishes to thank the surgeons and staff of Mount Carmel East CVICU and The Ohio State Transplant team for their valiant efforts. Due to current conditions, no public services are going to be taking place at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brian's memory to Stonybrook United Methodist Church or to BSA Troop 98. Arrangements entrusted to Schoedinger Northeast.
